Positive Solutions is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that serves people who are on Social Security because of disabilities.  We provide the necessary benefits counseling to those who are trying to go back to work.  Social Security has a new Benefits Planning program and it has a new name “Work Incentive Planning and Assistance.”  Our Benefits Specialists are now known as “Community Work Incentive Coordinators.”  Don’t let the new names fool you.  We still provide the same great services.  Our CWICs are ready to help you understand your options with WIPA.  Positive Solutions provides benefits planning services to individuals living with disabilities throughout King and Kitsap Counties. Positive Solution’s benefits planning services clearly explain the effects and opportunities of state, federal and private disability programs to the individuals we serve.  We provide accurate and up-to-date material to our clients enabling them to make educated choices about returning to work, remove disability related barriers and enhance their lives through self-advocacy.

We not only work with individuals, but we also provide strong disability awareness within the community. Our Disability Awareness Project provides education and information resources to the community through workshops and events.  We have actively supported job fairs, training programs, resource centers and other programs in both King and Kitsap Counties. One phone call could bring one of our CWICs to your company or organization to help you understand how better to help people living with disabilities.

Positive Solutions relies on donations and agency contracts to bring empowering information to clients at no charge.  All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
